  4. Can Ibuleve be used by patients taking beta blockers

  5. Can Ibuleve be used by the patients with asthma?

No, not recommended, because ibuprofen can sometimes induce allergic bronchial reactions in susceptible asthmatic patients. Although the systemic absorption of topically applied ibuprofen is much less than for oral dosage forms, reactions can occur in rare cases.

  7. Why is there a lower age limit of 12 years for Ibuleve

It is a customary requirement for many medicinal products to exclude use in children, except where specific clinical trials have been conducted on children; because it is available without prescription, it is generally accepted that children who have a painful condition should visit their doctor to obtain an accurate diagnosis.

  8. How long can Ibuleve be used, once the tube has been opened?

Ibuleve will remain effective until the expiry date, provided the cap has been tightly replaced and the tube stored at room temperature (not exceeding 25°C). It is important to avoid evaporation of the gel which would increase the concentration of the ibuprofen.
